In 90's era ; Indian IT industry came up bcoz of hard working engineers who sat day , night ; understood age old code ; solved problems, provided bug fixes ! In 00's decade ; the dirty corporate structure always wanted to extract more and more from the talented pool and appointed half baked, unworthy people who can talk , talk and talk as managers since they were always believed in NETworking than working. The Health Ministry has imposed higher taxes to deter cigarette smoking, it has recommended a ban on the sale of loose cigarettes. It is asking for three-quarters of every cigarette pack to be covered with health warnings. All these things look good while reading out in a press meet and looks like the ministry is taking some bold steps. But, I would say it's a misplaced priority and problem lies elsewhere. Search for term "Bengaluru street food" or "Bangalore street food" in Youtube and its hard to find video's which depict actual Bengaluru food scene. Similarly, search for "Mysore street food" Shashank Soghal Mysuru Paaka shows up in 6th or 7th in the list. Thanks for English sub titles, one can get a glimpse of the street food scene. Now, compare this with the video on street food in Mumbai, Delhi or Chennai. There are lots of chefs, travel shows based on that. How were they able to get that? It was the research team of these programs which would have suggested the programming heads to include these cities in their program. Impressed, happy and enriched are words that describe how I feel right now. After two incredible weeks in China, I am now starting my journey back to Bengaluru. One of the first thing I discovered as soon I landed in China, there is no access to Facebook, Google in China. Point 1 : The maximum period for which any woman shall be entitled to maternity benefit shall be twelve weeks of which not more than six weeks shall precede the date of her ex delivery Issue : Just 3 months of leave for a new born or yet to be born? How can a mother leave a 2 or 3 month old kid in creche or foster care and start working? Some countries have 2 year leave policy. In India, it should be atleast 12 months after pregnancy. Some govt organizations have 2 yr extended leave policy but its not uniform across all sectors since the rules are set to 12 week maximum leave.
